Assistant Director: Cash Management

The National Treasury is seeking a finance professional to assist with government liquidity management and cash flow forecasting.

Requirements

Applicants must possess:

Grade 12 certificate
National Diploma in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
At least 3 years’ experience in a finance environment
Knowledge of cash management processes

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will:

Forecast short-term and long-term cash flows
Manage government liquidity and investments
Perform reconciliations and variance analysis
Coordinate with SARS and SARB on cash forecasting
Support automation of manual finance processes
