This role involves assisting with plant trials and evaluations under agricultural legislation. Successful candidates will work in greenhouses and fields, handling seeds, fertilizers, irrigation systems, and data recording for plant research.

2. Farm Aid (x3 Posts)

• Salary: R144,024 per annum
• Minimum Requirement: ABET Level 2/3 or equivalent

Farm Aids will support crop production activities such as irrigation, soil preparation, harvesting, and maintenance of farm equipment and infrastructure.

3. Tradesman Aid (x5 Posts Total)

Mpumalanga (Hectorspruit) – 2 Posts

Limpopo (Phalaborwa) – 3 Posts

• Minimum Requirement: Basic education (ABET)
• Experience: Not required

These positions focus on maintaining fences, roads, and infrastructure related to animal disease control. Duties include patrolling, firefighting, animal tracking, and working in challenging outdoor environments.

4. General Worker (x1 Post)

• Location: Skukuza, Mpumalanga
• Salary: R144,024 per annum
• Minimum Requirement: Basic education
• Experience: Experience with wild or large animals is advantageous

The role includes animal care, cleaning quarantine facilities, maintaining biosecurity standards, and assisting with veterinary procedures such as necropsies and animal handling.
