Main Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting and implementing environmental programme projects through several key functions.
Project Planning and Coordination
The appointed coordinator will assist with operational planning, project target setting, and development of training plans. Stakeholder engagement and maintaining project advisory committees will also form part of the role.
Project Implementation
The role includes overseeing the recruitment of EPWP field workers, ensuring work opportunities are created, and monitoring alien vegetation clearing activities in the field.
Monitoring and Reporting
Candidates will conduct site inspections, complete operational assessment reports, monitor project cash flow, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Project Closure Activities
The Project Coordinator will also handle close-out reports, site inspections, and completion certification processes once projects are finalized.
