Director: NARYSEC
Based in Kimberley, Northern Cape, this role comes with a salary package of R1.31 million per year. The position focuses on implementing youth development programmes, coordinating skills training initiatives, and managing NARYSEC operations at provincial level.
Director: Community Mobilisation, Institution Building and Poverty Reduction
This Pretoria-based position seeks a professional with expertise in social and economic development. The successful candidate will drive anti-poverty programmes, community engagement projects, and stakeholder partnerships aimed at improving livelihoods in rural areas.
Director: Rural Infrastructure Development
The department is recruiting two directors for rural infrastructure development:
- Polokwane, Limpopo
- Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal
Both positions offer annual remuneration packages exceeding R1.3 million and require extensive experience in infrastructure project management, stakeholder coordination, and rural development initiatives.
Director: Projects

Minimum Requirements
Most senior management positions require:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7)
- Nyukela Certificate (SMS Pre-entry Programme)
- At least five years of management experience
- Valid driver’s licence
Professional and technical positions require qualifications relevant to their respective fields, along with demonstrated experience.
