The successful candidate will lead the National Rural Youth Service Corps (NARYSEC) and oversee rural skills development programmes aimed at improving employment opportunities and economic participation in rural communities.

Director: NARYSEC

Based in Kimberley, Northern Cape, this role comes with a salary package of R1.31 million per year. The position focuses on implementing youth development programmes, coordinating skills training initiatives, and managing NARYSEC operations at provincial level.

Director: Community Mobilisation, Institution Building and Poverty Reduction

This Pretoria-based position seeks a professional with expertise in social and economic development. The successful candidate will drive anti-poverty programmes, community engagement projects, and stakeholder partnerships aimed at improving livelihoods in rural areas.

Director: Rural Infrastructure Development

The department is recruiting two directors for rural infrastructure development:

  • Polokwane, Limpopo
  • Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal

Both positions offer annual remuneration packages exceeding R1.3 million and require extensive experience in infrastructure project management, stakeholder coordination, and rural development initiatives.

Director: Projects

Based in Pretoria, this role focuses on economic research, statistical data management, and project oversight. The successful applicant will help strengthen evidence-based planning and support rural development programmes through data-driven decision-making.

Assistant Director: Information Communication Technology (ICT)

Located in Mmabatho, North West, this position offers a salary of R487,197 per annum. The role involves managing network infrastructure, ICT systems, server environments, and user support services.

State Accountant: PLAS Management Services

Based in Pretoria, this finance position offers a salary of R338,106 per annum. Responsibilities include managing payments, financial reporting, vendor reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial management regulations.
