Key responsibilities include supporting investment promotion initiatives, conducting market research, maintaining investor databases, assisting with investor missions, preparing business cases, and strengthening relationships with industry stakeholders. The role also involves contributing to investment marketing strategies and facilitating the conversion of investment leads into viable projects.
The successful candidate will earn a starting salary of R605,742 per annum.
Internal Auditor: Performance Audit
The department is also recruiting an Internal Auditor specializing in Performance Auditing. This position focuses on assessing whether departmental operations are conducted economically, efficiently, and effectively while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and auditing standards.
Candidates must hold a qualification in Internal Auditing, Accounting, or a related discipline at NQF Level 6 and possess one to two years of performance auditing experience within the public or private sector.
The role includes conducting audit planning, gathering and evaluating audit evidence, compiling reports, assessing performance information, and monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with public sector financial regulations are essential.
Like the Assistant Director position, this role offers a starting salary of R605,742 per annum.
