Assistant Director: Management Accounting – Eastern Cape
Environmental Officer (Drinking Water Regulation) – Free State
Community Development Officer (Water & Sanitation Services) – Free State
The Department offers competitive government salary packages, ranging from approximately:
R325,101 per annum (Level 07)
Up to R1,323,267 per annum (OSD / Senior Management)
Final offers depend on the post level and years of proven experience.
While requirements differ per post, general expectations include:
Relevant NQF Level 6–7 qualifications
Professional registration (ECSA, IRMSA, SAICA, etc.) where applicable
Proven experience in the public sector, engineering, finance, or sanitation
A valid driver’s licence for most field-based roles
Strong communication, reporting, and project management skills
Shortlisted candidates will undergo security clearance, reference checks, SAQA verification, and competency assessments.
