Salary Packages

The Department offers competitive government salary packages, ranging from approximately:

• R325,101 per annum (Level 07)

• Up to R1,323,267 per annum (OSD / Senior Management)

Final offers depend on the post level and years of proven experience.

Minimum Requirements

While requirements differ per post, general expectations include:

• Relevant NQF Level 6–7 qualifications

• Professional registration (ECSA, IRMSA, SAICA, etc.) where applicable

• Proven experience in the public sector, engineering, finance, or sanitation

• A valid driver’s licence for most field-based roles

• Strong communication, reporting, and project management skills

Shortlisted candidates will undergo security clearance, reference checks, SAQA verification, and competency assessments.
