Digital Media Deputy Director Vacancy in Pretoria

This role focuses on website content management, digital publishing, and online government communication platforms. The successful applicant will coordinate website operations, oversee content management systems, and ensure government information is accurately published online.
Candidates should have experience working with platforms such as SharePoint, Drupal, WordPress, or Joomla. Knowledge of AI-powered digital tools, Power Apps, Adobe Creative Suite, and chatbot development technologies will be considered an added advantage.
Regional Communication Coordinator Opportunities
Two Regional Communication Coordinator positions are available in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng, each offering a salary of R487 197 per annum.

- Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, Gauteng
These roles involve implementing government communication programmes, strengthening local government communication systems, engaging with community stakeholders, and coordinating public information campaigns.

Assistant Director: Research
The Pretoria-based Assistant Director: Research role offers a salary of R487 197 per annum.
The successful candidate will conduct qualitative and quantitative communication research, analyse data using SPSS and Excel, prepare reports, and support communication strategy development.
Assistant Director: News Services (Senior Reporter)
A Senior Reporter position is available within GCIS News Services in Pretoria, also offering R487 197 annually.
The department is seeking experienced journalists capable of producing news stories, multimedia content, and feature articles for SAnews.gov.za and other government communication platforms.

Media Monitoring Officer Position
Another opportunity is available for a Principal Communication Officer specialising in Communication and Media Monitoring in Pretoria. The position offers a salary of R413 001 per annum.
