Minimum Requirements

- A bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in curriculum development, instructional design, education, capacity development, or a related field
- Extensive relevant experience, including at least five years at senior management level
- Strong knowledge of higher education frameworks such as SAQA, QCTO, CHE, and the National Qualifications Framework (NQF)
Postgraduate qualifications and professional registration will serve as advantages.

Qualifications and Experience Required
Candidates must hold:
- An NQF Level 7 qualification in Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or Teaching
- At least five years of middle or senior management experience
A postgraduate qualification and experience in Public Affairs teaching will be advantageous.
Main Duties
The appointed Director will:
- Develop and review curriculum content
- Design blended, virtual, and face-to-face learning programmes
- Create eLearning materials and instructional content
- Ensure curriculum alignment with constitutional values and public service priorities
- Manage quality assurance processes and accreditation standards
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve learning outcomes
The role also requires expertise in inclusive pedagogy, digital learning systems, policy interpretation, and project management.
